The Indianapolis Colts are expecting running back Jonathan Taylor to make an immediate impact during his rookie season, and his Madden NFL 21 rating has been revealed.
While these will be updated throughout the season, Taylor’s rating is interesting, to say the least. He comes in at a 73 overall, tied for the fifth-highest among rookie running backs.
Here are the players in front of him:
- J.K. Dobbins — 75 overall
- Clyde Edwards-Helaire — 74 overall
- D’Andre Swift — 74 overall
- Cam Akers — 73 overall
- Jonathan Taylor — 73 overall
It is likely that Taylor’s rating will improve over the course of the season as he earns a role in the offense and his talent takes over but for now, it seems he will be sitting with a middling rating to begin his rookie campaign.
The rest of the Madden rating should be released soon as training camp prepares to begin on July 28.
