The oddsmakers in Vegas have been pretty harsh on the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, mostly projecting them to have the worst record in the NFL or close to it. BetOnline’s latest odds for the Jags to win their own division reflects the pessimism from the other oddsmakers in Vegas, as they were slotted with 20/1 odds to achieve the feat.
As for the rest of the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts came in with +115 (23/20) odds, the Tennessee Titans with +185 (37/20) odds, and the Houston Texans +325 13/4 odds.

To say this is a surprise would be wrong. Many aren’t high on the team because of their offseason as they traded veterans Calais Campbell, A.J. Bouye, Nick Foles, and declined the contract option of Marcell Dareus. That said, most of those players came from the Jags’ most dominant unit and without them there are some concerns.
