The defending champion LSU Tigers currently rank No. 6 in 247Sports team rankings for the class of 2021. The Tigers are among the finalists for several of the nation’s top prospects, meaning that rating could climb even higher.
One LSU target took to Twitter to announce he would be making his decision on Aug. 28.
I will be committing AUGUST 28….

Nathaniel Wiggins, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback from Westlake High in Atlanta, Ga., is a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 71 overall player in the 2021 class, per 247Sports rankings and the No. 123 player in the composite rankings.

As a top player from Georgia, most would assume the Georgia Bulldogs would be a leader in Wiggins’ recruitment.
However, that isn’t exactly the case as Wiggins like two west-coast schools in USC and Oregon, and also two SEC schools in Florida and LSU, per Shea Dixon of 247Sports.
Cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond is recruiting Wiggins for LSU.
The Tigers currently have 15 commitments for the 2021 class, but only one defensive back in safety Khari Gee. Gee is also from Atlanta.
LSU has received a commitment from five-star cornerbacks Derek Stingley Jr. and Elias Ricks in each of the last two years.
