Former LSU QB Joe Burrow’s career rating is higher than any other rookie in 2020

How does Burrow compare to the other rookies?

Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow enters his NFL rookie year with the Cincinnati Bengals as one of the most highly-touted prospects.

This comes as no surprise, considering Burrow just won the Heisman Trophy and recorded one of the best seasons by a player in college football history.

So, it came as no surprise when Burrow recorded the highest ‘Madden 21’ rating among rookie NFL quarterbacks and the highest college career rating among the same group, according to PFF.

Burrow posted a college career grade of 93.0 and a Madden rating of 76.

Tua Togavailoa (92.2, 73), Justin Herbert (89.1, 70) and Jordan Love (80.2, 71) trailed him directly.

In 2019, Burrow 60 touchdown passes and only six interceptions, competing 76.3 percent of his throws. He also started 28 games at LSU with a 25-3 record, changing the stereotype of the position at the university.

It will be interesting to see how Burrow fares compared to these signal-callers as he prepares to take the reins for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020.
