Since teams arrived this week for the season restart at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida, much has been made about the food options available to players after a few posted some complaints with the selection.

As far as Ja Morant is concerned, the food is fine with him.

Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies took the practice court for the first time on Friday after arriving on Wednesday night. Morant addressed the media for the first time after practice and said he hasn’t had any issues with the conditions of the bubble environment.

I’m doing fine. My room is fine, the food is fine. I’m not a silver spoon guy so I know how to live in the conditions. People are complaining but I’m doing good. Like I said, my room food was fine. I brought stuff on my own here so I’m fine.

Players have posted pictures of the food options on social media this week and have depicted the spread as being less than ideal. However, as players exit quarantine and are free to move around the bubble, the league will begin to provide catered meals from different restaurants, including Del Frisco’s, The Oceanaire and Joe’s Crab Shack among others.

As far as the performance on the court, Morant said that it was a bit unusual practicing on a different court but added he and his teammates did fine given the circumstances. Morant and the Grizzlies appear to be low-maintenance so they may fit in just fine in Central Florida.
