The Cincinnati Bengals joined a long list of teams sending out communications to fans about new rules and options ahead of a unique 2020 season.

According to Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the email went out this week to season-ticket holders.

Within that email, the Bengals noted fans have the option of opting out of the 2020 season but preserving their seats for the 2021 season.

Should fans want to attend games in 2020, they must wear a face mask at all times, social distancing will be enforced, tailgating is prohibited and the capacity at the stadium will be reduced.

No shockers here as the Bengals adhere to local guidelines as well as the ever-developing rules being formulated by negotiations between the NFL and NFLPA.

As always, everything here is subject to change given the fluid circumstances of world events. Training camp remains scheduled to start at the end of the month, though preseason games remain a question mark.
