Top Class of 2021 player has LSU among final 7 schools

Where will Foreman play out his college career?

The defending champion LSU Tigers could hardly be doing better on the recruiting trail than they are right now.

LSU picked up three commitments just a week ago and several other 2021 recruits have included the Tigers among their finalists.

Now, the nation’s top player, according to the 247Sports composite rankings, has trimmed his final list to seven schools and LSU is in that group.

Korey Foreman, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive end from Centennial High in Corona, Calif., has visited five of the seven schools in his top seven.

But LSU is one school he has not visited.

While there is a belief Foreman could stay on the west coast for his college career, per Greg Biggins of 247Sports — meaning Oregon and USC are in the best shape for Foreman —  playing in the SEC also appeals to him.

LSU, Georgia and Alabama are the three SEC schools in Foreman’s top group.

The Tigers are feeling the momentum of a national championship season right now. Elite players who have never visited Baton Rouge are either committing or including LSU as a finalist.

Currently, LSU has 15 commitment for the 2021 class and have No. 6 class in the nation.
