Boston Celtics alumni Jordan Mickey and Ante Zizic are reportedly signing new deals with overseas clubs in Europe.
Ex-Boston big man Jordan Mickey — selected 33rd overall out of LSU by the Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft — will sign with Khimki Moscow Region for the second stint of his career with the Russia-based club after a season with Real Madrid in the Euroleague, per Eurohoops.net’s Nikos Varlas.
Mickey played 41 games over two seasons with Boston before being waived by the team in 2017.
Ex-Celtics center Zizic never actually suited up for Boston, dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of the package that brought point guard Kyrie Irving to the team, also in 2017.

Zizic — selected 23rd overall by the Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft — will be headed to Mickey’s old team (Real Madrid), of all places, again per Varlas.
It seems the two former Celtics draftees will effectively be swapping out positions in Real Madrid’s frontcourt.
And while the reason behind Mickey’s departure is unknown, there had been speculation in the press the club was considering moving on from the former Tiger.
