ABU DHABI – Earlier this week, [autotag]Max Holloway[/autotag] got hit with some actual fake news claiming he was out of UFC 251 due to weight cut issues.
Those rumors turned out to be the work of a loser troll on Twitter with nothing better to do, and Friday, Holloway stepped on the scale and hit 145 pounds without issue early in the weigh-ins window in Abu Dhabi.
Holloway (21-5 MMA, 17-5 UFC) challenges [autotag]Alexander Volkanovski[/autotag] (21-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) for the featherweight title in the co-main event on the UFC 251 main card Saturday at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.

Volkanovski beat Holloway this past December to win the title, and his first defense of the belt will be a rematch with the ex-champ.
