Steven Adams photoed apparently bringing groceries into Orlando bubble

Did Steven Adams bring groceries to Orlando instead of clothes? This photo suggests he may have.

Anyone who’s followed the Thunder knows that Steven Adams is one of the most interesting men in existence.

Just recently, he joked that he spent his time in quarantine by working out with cows on his farm. He once wore a custom suit to a Thunder game before declaring that the next time he’d be in a suit would be at his funeral.

There was also the time he used an expletive to describe the thoughts in his head before he nailed some game-winning free-throws.

And those are only some of the best Adams moments from this season.

Here’s another…

The Thunder were among the NBA’s teams to travel to Orlando on Wednesday, and much has been made of what kind of luggage the teams would be traveling with. While the majority of teams will depart Disney by the end of August, those teams that make deep playoff runs need to be prepared to be in Orlando until mid-September, at least.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander said he was bringing three months’ worth of clothes, for example.

Steven Adams, though, seemed more concerned with making sure he had adequate nourishment.

The NBA tweeted a photo of the Thunder’s arrival in Orlando. Chris Paul was pictured in a sweatsuit with at least three bags. Adams, from what we see in the photo, didn’t have a suitcase with him, but he sure had what appeared to be three bags of groceries.

Anyone who’s followed him wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.

The idea of Adams bringing his own food to Orlando is humorous and believable, considering the fact that some photos of some less-than-appetizing looking food being provided to players within the bubble were sent around on social media on Monday.

Perhaps Adams had someone help with his luggage. Or maybe he made two trips. It’s also possible that he stashed some clothes in his guitar case or in the backpack he’s wearing…

But truth be told, if we were to find out that he traveled to Orlando with three pairs of shorts, six t-shirts and two pairs of flip flops, nobody that follows the Thunder would be surprised.
