Raheem Mostert got caught up in a numbers game when he was a member of the Eagles, and never got a chance to even carry the ball in the NFL until he landed on his seventh team, the San Francisco 49ers.
It was safe to say that Mostert had found a home in San Francisco and cemented his place in NFL history after single handily dismantling the Green Bay Packers through three-quarters of the NFC Championship game.
Now Mostert wants out and Howie Roseman has the chance to right Chip Kelly’s wrong by inquiring about the running backs availability after he requested a trade on Wednesday.
49ers already traded RB Matt Breida to Miami and now, without a new contract, Raheem Mostert wants a trade, too.
49ers other RBs include Tevin Coleman, Jeff Wilson and Jerick McKinnon.

With his four touchdowns against Green Bay, last January Mostert joins two other former Philadelphia Eagles running backs, LeGarrette Blount and Ricky Watters as the only players in NFL history with 4 or more rushing TD in a playoff game.
After going undrafted out of Purdue during the 2015 NFL Draft, Mostert signed as an undrafted free agent with Eagles.
Mostert had a solid preseason racking up 157 rushing yards and 191 receiving yards, totaling for 351 yards, leading the NFL in yards from the line of scrimmage in the preseason.
Mostert was still eventually cut and placed on waivers after missing out on being the Eagles fourth running back behind Ryan Mathews, DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and Kenjon Barner.
The rest is now history, that Howie Roseman can spin into a dynamic backfield and he’d only have to part with a cornerback.
