Former Georgia guard, #66, Royce Smith was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs from 1969-1971. Smith received All-SEC honors as both a sophomore and junior before being named an All-American and winning the Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the best blocker in the SEC in 1971.

Smith was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the first-round of the 1972 NFL Draft and later joined the Atlanta Falcons where he played two seasons.
