Cam Newton appears to call out Panthers: ‘You gonna choose that over this?’

Cam Newton seems to have taken his release from the Carolina Panthers earlier this offseason personally. Even now that he’s agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots, he’s using this slight as motivation.

Newton posted another workout video to his Instagram account on Sunday night. In this one, he seems to throw shade at the Panthers for choosing to move on with Teddy Bridgewater rather than him.

We can’t be 100% sure Newton is taking a shot at Bridgewater, but not long before this post Bridgewater shared a photo of himself looking a bit more muscular than we have become accustomed to.

If there is a preseason, the Panthers will play the Patriots on August 20.
