Earlier today, the Big Ten Network began to unveil their all-decade football squad. After the network named Frank Kaminsky the player of the decade on the hardwood, recognition began for Badgers on the gridiron. Jonathan Taylor was one of two running backs named to the all-decade squad alongside Penn State legend and current New York Giant Saquon Barkley.

Taylor’s position on the list needs little justification for the Wisconsin faithful who watched him tear up the Big Ten for three seasons. The two-time Doak Walker Award winner finished with 60 total touchdowns in three seasons, and averaged nearly seven yards per carry at Wisconsin. Taylor is hopefully the first of at least a few Badgers to earn all-decade honors for Wisconsin.
