George has had quite a path to get to this point. A former walk-on at Trinity Valley Community College, George signed at Tennessee after just one season of junior college and suffered a season-ending injury early in 2018. In 2019, George played in all 13 games, and provided nice relief in wake of Bryce Thompson’s early-season suspension.
George finished last season with 19 tackles and one interception. He will certainly appear in plenty of games for the Vols in 2020 as a key piece of depth for UT’s cornerback unit.
