If you believe in curses, then Lamar Jackson is in a lot of trouble.
But if you don’t, or you believe those curses have been vanquished, then the Baltimore Ravens quarterback might repeat his incredible 2019 season that resulted in an NFL MVP award.
Back in January, rapper Drake wore some “Truss” gear and people got worried (but the Drake curse was broken by the Toronto Raptors, right?). And Patrick Mahomes won a Super Bowl after getting his face on the cover of last year’s Madden 20, right? So the Madden 21 cover athlete should be fine?
And now we have Jackson addressing BOTH curses while speaking with Bleacher Report: “Two negatives make a positive!”
That’s perfect! Double negatives in sentences are positives, right? Check out his answer around the 2:55 mark:
“You can’t.” –@Lj_era8 on how you stop him 🔥
The unanimous MVP talks about the constant Mahomes comparisons, if he’s scared about a combined Drake/Madden curse and who he’d draft to his Ultimate Team in FaceTime interview with @TaylorRooks. pic.twitter.com/4o8HTf7Bs9
