Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, whose stage name is Dame D.O.L.L.A, is the undisputed best NBA rapper in the league.
But he may have some competition for his throne on the horizon.
Golden State Warriors center Marquese Chriss, who is going by the stage name Quese, recently dropped a single called “I Remember,” according to Jessica Kleinschmidt of NBC Sports Bay Area; 2kkhari was featured on the track.
Chriss’ flow is laced with potential, as he connects his lines in a way that draws listeners in to his story. Throughout the song, he reflects on events of his past.

Chriss showing his skills in music is cool to see, and his lyrics are relatable for anyone who has come up from humble beginnings on their way to success.
This season, Chris had his best year to date as a pro. He fit seamlessly in the Warriors’ offense and showed great potential to be their rim runner of the future. He scored a career-high 9.3 points per game on a career-high 54.5% shooting, along with averaging career-bests in rebounds per game (6.2) and blocks per game (1.1).
According to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors are “comfortable” going into next season with Chriss as their starting center. He signed a two-year standard deal with the Warriors in February.
