Vikings WR Justin Jefferson listed as Minnesota’s biggest X-factor

Do you think Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson will have a breakout 2020?

The Vikings traded Stefon Diggs this offseason, and received draft picks in exchange. One of those draft picks — Justin Jefferson, a wide receiver out of LSU — will be expected by many to be an adequate replacement for Diggs.

Bleacher Report thinks that because Jefferson has to fill the void opposite to wideout Adam Thielen, that Jefferson is the team’s biggest X-factor. Here’s what it said about the choice:

“The 6’1″, 202-pound LSU product has a wide catch radius and plenty of after-the-catch potential. He should immediately challenge fellow offseason addition Tajae Sharpe to be Kirk Cousins’ No. 2 target.”

Bleacher Report also said that Jefferson might even be able to be more productive than Diggs. I don’t know about that, but if Jefferson serves as a reliable wide receiver two, then the team should be fine.

“If Jefferson can reach that ceiling in Year 1, the Vikings will move on from Diggs without missing a beat,” according to Bleacher Report.
