Boston Celtics two way center Tacko Fall has been working on his 3-pointer for some time now, and while it’s still a work in progress, progress is being made.
Compared to the clip the Celtics Wire shared in January of this year, the Senegalese center’s form in this clip shared by team president Danny Ainge is much more fluid and less jerky, though he still looks like he’s trying to push the shot into the hoop.
He might have gotten called for a travel, too.
Still, that he’s incorporated footwork to position himself behind the line is also promising, though it’s going to take a lot of work before this shot is deployable in a live game at the NBA level.

Watch the short clip embedded above to get a look yourself, but try not to get too excited. A functional jumper will make Fall a much more viable player in the Association, but it’s going to be a while yet before it’s a part of his usual repertoire, if ever.
