Chuck Martin enters his seventh season as head coach at Miami.
Miami won the Mid-American Conference championship in 2019, defeating Central Michigan in the MAC championship game.
Before becoming the head coach for Miami, Martin served as an assistant for Brian Kelly at Notre Dame. Martin was offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2012-13, safeties coach in 2011 and oversaw defensive backs in 2010 for the Fighting Irish.
He replaced Kelly as head coach at Grand Valley State (2004-09), compiling a 74–7 record and winning the NCAA Division II championship in 2005 and 2006.
Martin joined the show “Tennessee Two-A-Days” to discuss Miami football, coaching offense and defense and competing against Alabama and Jeremy Pruitt in the 2012 BCS national championship game.
