Tennessee Titans coaches will return to team’s facility on Monday

The Titans’ coaching staff will wait until Monday to return to the team’s facility.

While NFL teams can start to return their coaching staffs to team facilities on Friday, the Tennessee Titans are going to wait a few extra days to do so.

According to John Glennon of The Athletic, the plan is for the Titans’ coaching staff to return to the team’s facility on Monday, June 8.

The number of employees allowed at a team’s facility has been bumped up from 75 to 100, and coaches do factor into that count.

As far as players go, nothing has changed there. Only players rehabbing are allowed at a team’s facility right now. There’s still no indication as to when the rest of the players will be able to return.

A previous report from Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson gave hope that players could return sooner rather than later and that minicamps might actually take place in mid to late June.

However, a more recent report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter squashed that hope, as he’s hearing players might not return until training camp begins, which normally takes place in July.

If Schefter’s report holds true, the Titans may not see their players return until late July, as Paul Kuharsky noted the team’s training camp “should open July 28th.”

It is also possible that training camps get pushed up if minicamp doesn’t take place, but it remains to be seen if that will actually happen.
