Receiver DeAndre Hopkins has a very different reason. It is to remember some injustice in his family’s life.

He had a cousin serve 10 years in prison for having $600 worth of drugs.
Yes, that looks like an excessive punishment for a non-violent crime, but it is the sort of thing Hopkins tries to make people aware of in his off-field work.
In light of the events in our nation, this is yet another example of how there isn’t true equality in our society.
