Sooners Wire will be creating player cards for readers to be introduced to the 2020 roster. Here is No. 27 Jeremiah Hall.

There is a ton of momentum to having a 2020 college football season these days. No definite signs, yet, but the season would start less than 100 days from now.

Sooners Wire will be creating player cards for readers to be introduced to the 2020 roster.

Here is No. 27 for Oklahoma.

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Name: Jeremiah Hall

Number: No. 27

Year: Redshirt junior

Position: H-back

Hometown: Charlotte, NC

Height/Weight: 6-foot-2, 243 pounds

A three-star tight end out of the 2017 class hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeremiah Hall had offers from Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina and others, but opted to go with Lincoln Riley’s high-powered offense.

Hall works well in Riley’s plug-and-play scheme, replacing Dimitri Flowers as his flex player, running, receiving and blocking. Hall ran the ball just two times, but caught 16 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns. Hall finished with touchdowns against Houston, South Dakota and West Virginia last season.

Still only a sophomore last season, Hall has more room for improvement, and with Riley’s offensive weapons depleted earlier in the season due to injuries and suspensions, Hall could see an increased role early.
