It’s been a busy offseason for Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski. Not only did the All-Pro tight end and future Hall of Famer end his one-year retirement to reunite with quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa, but he also captured the WWE 24/7 championship, a title he held until now.
After 58 days as the champion, Gronk lost his title in his own backyard.
Per ESPN:
“WWE aired a vignette Monday that showed Gronkowski walking into his backyard in Foxborough, Massachusetts. R-Truth, who has been the most prolific holder of the WWE 24/7 title since its inception in May 2019, won the belt for the 36th time by disguising himself as a landscaper and blindsiding Gronkowski for the pin.”
In R-Truth’s defense, Gronk was given fair warning by the WWE after he unretired from the NFL.

No end zone title defense this time around, but you and I both know Gronk isn’t done with the WWE. Not by a long shot.
