Some players have also spoken out as well.
Patrick Peterson shared this.
This was not easy for me. I had to take some time to make sure my anger from the tragic #GeorgeFloyd situation was under control before speaking out. I have a responsibility to share my thoughts as an influential black man in America. This is how I feel. WE NEED & DEMAND CHANGE!! pic.twitter.com/KWJo6VOBd5

Running back Chase Edmonds also shared his thoughts.
So many black Americans have died just for us to have equal opportunities and equal treatment as human beings. Yet I see so many high profiled and highly influential black individuals who’ve remain silent on what has been happening. It’s shameful tbh and truly disappointing

It will take many more athletes and even more fans uniting to improve the world.
