Lane Johnson seems open to idea of LeSean McCoy returning to the Philadelphia Eagles

Lane Johnson would welcome LeSean McCoy returning to the Eagles

LeSean McCoy is angling to return to the Philadelphia Eagles and one of his former teammates seems to be all for the idea.

While hosting DeSean Jackson on his new Instagram live show, Outside The Lane, the Eagles right tackle and star wideout were discussing the potential for a LeSean McCoy return to the team.

“They’re asking if Shady is gonna come back,” Jackson said. “They’re gonna ask if Shady’s coming back. [I’m going to] leave that to you. What do you think about Shady coming back?”

“Hey, I wanna see it,” Johnson answered. “You already know how I feel.”

The Eagles all-time leading rusher, McCoy has been working to get back to Philadelphia and the franchise hasn’t shied away from it, reportedly considering the former second-round pick.

McCoy, who turns 32 in July, rushed for 465 yards on 4.6 yards per carry and four touchdowns with the Chiefs last season.
