Denver Broncos president of football operations/general manager John Elway announced on Friday that eight members of the team’s personnel department have received promotions.
Matt Russell, formerly the director of player personnel, has been promoted to vice president of player personnel. Russell, who has been with the team since 2009, has helped the team land two Pro Bowlers since 2018 (Phillip Lindsay and Courtland Sutton) and three all-rookie selections (Bradley Chubb, Noah Fant and Dalton Risner).
On paper, it looks like Denver had another great draft class this year.
