Minnesota has lost its share of talent in the offseason, but the Vikings still have Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook on offense.
When ranking the best offensive “triplets,” CBS Sports put the Vikings in the second-tier group, ranking the trio of Cousins, Thielen and Cook at 11th, tied with the Cardinals.
Here’s what the outlet said about Minnesota’s ranking:
“Once the Vikings actually decided to throw the ball last season, Cousins was electric. Minnesota’s reliance on a play-action, boot concepts, and targeted deep shots played perfectly to his strengths as a passer, and he had the most efficient season of his career. Former offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski is now with the Browns, but Gary Kubiak should be able to re-create a similar environment in 2020.”
It should be fun to watch Cousins play alongside Cook, Thielen, and some of the new faces on offense in 2020, like wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
