Luc Lipcius named to SEC Baseball Community Service Team.

BIRMINGHAM — University of Tennessee baseball player Luc Lipcius has been named to the Southeastern Conference Baseball Community Service Team.

Lipcius is a redshirt junior first baseman for the Vols.

Throughout his career on Rocky Top, Lipcius has been a student-athlete who excels both on the field and in the classroom. He is also active in the community, while carrying a 3.33 grade point average as an aerospace engineering major.

Lipcius has volunteered at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and with the American Cancer Society. He has also donated his time to Club Vibes and the Knoxville Challenger League.

He represented the Volunteers’ baseball team in the VOLeaders Academy Class during the 2018-19 academic year.

Every year, the SEC names a community service team in each of its 21 sanctioned sports.
