This has been an offseason full of changes for Tom Brady. He’s left behind his roots with the Patriots to continue his career with Buccaneers. He won’t be taking his house or his favorite wide receiver, Julian Edelman, with him. Those are staying in New England.
Now, he’s parting ways with a car from his expansive collection.
According to the listing on the website for Becker Auto Design, the quarterback is selling his 2017 Cadillac Escalade that has been outfitted perfectly for him.
The SUV is essentially a luxury office on wheels. In the back, there are five seats, two of which have six-way reclining capabilities with built-in electronic leg rests on the floor. There are two monitors on-board, a 32″ LCD screen and a 12″ screen as well.
Any work that needs to be completed can be done on the two large folding tables. Oh, and no need to worry about finding somewhere to use Wi-Fi, there’s a high-end internet router in the car as well.
“Parting ways with my Becker ESV won’t be easy,” Brady was quoted saying on their site. “From day one it became my sanctuary from the outside noise. I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV; from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug. With such limited time in my busy schedule the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my play book, make phone calls and be with my family. Immediately my productivity went up and my stress came down. I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
For everything this SUV has to offer, Brady is asking $300,000 to part ways with the vehicle. And, for the right fan, that may be a fair price to pay to own a luxury vehicle once owned by one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
