Earl Campbell ranked as one of the best No. 1 overall picks since 1970

Former Texas running back Earl Campbell landed at No. 7 in Draft Wire’s Top 50 of No. 1 overall picks in the NFL draft.
Campbell was the first overall pick in the 1978 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers.
Campbell’s most productive rushing yardage season came in 1980, with 1,934 yards in 15 games.
