Rob Gronkowski’s 2011 season named one of the best receiving seasons of the 2010s

NFL.com listed Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski’s big 2011 season as one of the best receiving seasons of the 2010s.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers boasted the league’s best passing attack in 2019, thanks to receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Now, the Bucs offense will have even more depth in the receiving game thanks to the acquisition of tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The future Hall of Famer will reunite with Tom Brady after their successful nine-year run together with the Patriots that produced three Super Bowl wins. Gronk’s best season came in 2011 when he collected 90 receptions for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns, a single-season record for a tight end.

Not surprisingly, that historic season made NFL.com’s list of the top 10 receiving seasons of the 2010s. Gronk came in at No. 8.
