This offseason has been a trying one not only for NFL fans but for the entire sports world in general. Finding ways to keep audiences engaged and entertained has been difficult due to the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus.
One event many spectators were looking forward to, though, was the charity golf match between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, who were paired with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, respectively, in Capital One’s The Match.
In the “Champions for Charity” match at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, Manning and Woods came out victorious over Brady and Mickelson, even though it came down to the final hole.
The event raised tens of millions of dollars in relief for COVID-19, which has put the entire sports world on hold.
That, along with the friendly banter between four legendary athletes, made this event worth watching and certainly entertaining.

Manning had some impressive shots and made his worth on the green during the early parts of the match. They were able to get out to an early lead thanks to the struggles of Brady—even though he and Mickelson would turn up the pressure on the back nine.
With the sports world on hold, this was a much-needed event and anytime Manning comes out victorious over Brady is a win in our book.
