Russell Wilson doesn’t seem to be rooting for Tom Brady during “The Match,” a golfing event which pits Brady and Phil Mickelson against Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods on Sunday at Medalist Golf Club in Florida.
The four athletes decided to partake in the unique event amid the coronavirus pandemic in an effort to raise funds for COVID-19 relief.
Wilson took to Twitter to troll Brady ahead of the contest. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback posted a funny video which put Brady’s face on the body of Shooter McGavin, a character in the movie “Happy Gilmore.” McGavin is the antagonist while Happy Gilmore is the underdog and good guy. So by this comparison, apparently, Brady is McGavin and Manning is Gilmore.
Here’s a look at the clip.

Brady and Wilson, of course, have a history, with the Seahawks QB losing in Super Bowl XLIX to the former Patriots and current Buccaneers QB. Apparently, a grudge is still in effect — at least playfully.
There’s a shot “The Match” gets delayed or postponed due to weather. You can keep an eye on the updates here.
