Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris came through on his promise from Monday when he said he would help deliver food to the healthcare workers of Philadelphia, as well as pay some mortgages for some families during this time. On Tuesday, he teamed up with Chick-Fil-A to deliver some food to the University of Temple Hospital.
“We’re experiencing one of the biggest crises in the history of humankind,” said Harris via the press release. “Being able to provide kindness to people putting their lives at risk in hospitals and supporting Philadelphia families in dire need of help is an important responsibility for me.”
To all the healthcare workers THANK YOU!!!! Just a small sign of appreciation for all that you do. Much love and blessings! I hope you enjoy the @ChickfilA ❤️🙏 https://t.co/Xc09UP4pop

This is a time of crisis for everybody in the world. It is times like these that really show the compassion of other people. When others need help, it’s that human spirit to rally around and help them. Harris is using his platform in a positive way which is exactly what we all need in a time like this.
