When we think of the Tennessee Titans’ corps. of wide receivers, names like A.J. Brown and Corey Davis always come to mind first.
But quarterback Ryan Tannehill has some other targets on the roster who have proven effective, albeit more quietly so than those higher up on the depth chart.
Kalif Raymond is one of those.
The wideout didn’t see a lot of action in 2019, but did post some numbers that show he does have some significant deep-threat potential.
He picked up seven first downs on just 10 receptions (including playoffs), averaging 21.5 yards per catch, according to Pro Football Focus.

The Holy Cross product totaled three receptions of 40 yards or more, with his biggest coming in the divisional round win over the Baltimore Ravens in which he caught a huge 45-yard touchdown reception.
Coming into the offseason, one of the areas of need the Titans were thought to be looking to address was adding a deep threat on offense.
However, Tennessee didn’t sign one in free agency or draft one, and it’s quite possible the answer the Titans are looking for might already be on the roster in Raymond.
With Tajae Sharpe off to join the Minnesota Vikings in 2020 and Raymond continuing to grow, there’s a chance we could see a bit more of him in the upcoming season.
