Watch: Raiders S Erik Harris had two of the NFL’s top 25 defensive TD’s of 2019

The NFL.com put out their top 25 defensive touchdowns of 2019 on Friday. And they did so by posting videos of those defensive touchdowns, counting down from No. 25 to No. 1. Last season the Raiders had two defensive touchdowns; both of them by safety Erik Harris. And both of those pick-sixes made the top 25.

At No. 16 in the countdown (2:18 mark) was Harris’s pick-six in week ten against the Chargers. He returned it 56 yards for the score. The thing about that interception was it wasn’t the only one Harris had on Rivers that day. His other interception he returned even farther (59 yards) and while he didn’t score, it was still a six-point play because it took the Chargers out of field goal range and put the Raiders in position to score.

His pick-six came on the next drive and he single-handedly put the Raiders up 10-0 in the first quarter. They would convert on the field goal and end up winning by two.

At No. 10 in the countdown was Harris’s other pick-six in a Week 4 win over the Colts. Harris returned it 30 yards, but it came with 2:09 remaining in a one-score game to seal it for the Raiders.

Harris is one of just three players to be featured among the top 25 defensive touchdowns along with Marcus Peters (No. 15, No. 5) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (No. 3, No. 19).
