It’s been almost exactly two months since Kevin Durant and three of his Brooklyn Nets teammates were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. While the other Nets remained anonymous, the team did reveal three of the four who had the illness were asymptomatic. Separate reports indicated Durant was among those not displaying symptoms.
After the four players made it through their 14-day quarantine, Nets general manager Seans Marks stated all four players were symptom-free. The Nets forward recently addressed his status with Ben Golliver of the Washington Post:
I’m alive. That’s it. That’s all I can tell you. I’m good. The unknown is always scary, but I had a lot of support. I knew if I needed anything, I could call someone.
Durant also added, “[As a society,] we still haven’t figured this whole thing out, but having more information by the day helps.”
