Broncos running back Melvin Gordon wasn’t happy with how his name was displayed on the back of his jersey on NFLShop.com.
After Denver signed Gordon, NFLShop.com listed jerseys with “Gordon” on the back. The running back wants his full name — “Gordon III” — displayed and he took to Twitter to let the store know it.
@OfficialNFLShop y’all trying me already huh lol can y’all fix my name lol #III

NFL Shop apologized and said they will have the issue “looked into.”
The website then put “II” on the back of the jersey. Oops.

A fan then let the running back know that the jersey he ordered was displayed correctly on the website:

The issue appears to be fixed. As of Monday afternoon, Gordon’s jersey displayed “Gordon III” on NFLShop.com.
Gordon, 27, spent the first five years of his career with the Chargers and totaled 6,113 yards from scrimmage and scored 47 touchdowns. After signing a two-year deal with the Broncos, Gordon will share touches with Phillip Lindsay in Denver this season.
