The Last Dance — the 10-part ESPN documentary centered around Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls — has given us so much, especially at a time where there isn’t much in the way of sports.
We’ve gone behind the scenes with some incredible and wild stories, seen Jordan run the gamut of emotions and shared some of the memes that have popped up out of the episodes that air each Sunday.
That last one is where this post comes in.
Jordan isn’t just the GOAT of the NBA. He also may be among the greatest when it comes to memes and GIFs, and there might be more to come with two episodes of The Last Dance to go.
Here are some of the greatest GIFs:
1. Crying Jordan
Of course we have to lead off with this one, which was a meme that spanned so many years and was so big that Jordan even joked about it during the Kobe Bryant memorial. As far as GIFs go, that one is amazing. But there’s also this:
2. Laughing Jordan
Perfect for any occasion when you see something you think is downright absurd and ridiculous.
3. “Stop it.”
I’ve seen this one floating around when there’s a tweet people disagree with.
4. The Shrug
Of course.
5. The laugh at watching Gary Payton talk about defending him
This is from Sunday’s eighth ep of The Last Dance. It is divine.
Michael Jordan watching Gary Payton talking about how tough he played MJ is my new favorite thing ever. pic.twitter.com/g309YxiUjC

6. The reaction to Isiah Thomas talking about him

Another one we’ve started using a lot thanks to The Last Dance.
7. MJ going Super Saiyan
Why haven’t we seen this more often? It’s fantastic.
8. The dunk
Another iconic Jordan moment.
9. The game-winner
Also extremely iconic.
