Oklahoma is very much in the running for in-state 3-star safety Kendall Daniels.

The Beggs, Oklahoma native is the No. 27 ranked safety via Rivals and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Oklahoma.
The Sooners are now pitted against Clemson, LSU, and Texas A&M for the 6-foot-4, 180-pound ballhawk.
Oklahoma has one 2021 safety already committed in Choctaw, Oklahoma product Jordan Mukes but the Sooners will take all the talent they can get as year two of the Alex Grinch regime gets underway.
As of today, the Sooners have offered 15 2021 safeties with five of those players already committed, minus Mukes.
Daniels has an opportunity to join Mukes, linebacker Danny Stutsman, and defensive end Ethan Downs as Oklahoma’s 2021 defensive recruiting class begins to take shape. Offensively, Oklahoma has three-star offensive lineman Cullen Montgomery and four-star wideout Cody Jackson verbally committed.
The Sooners 2021 class is currently ranked No. 53 on Rivals but will surely rocket up the rankings as December’s National Signing Day inches closer.
