SoFi Stadium has really taken shape in the last year or so, with the roof nearly completed and the Oculus being tested at ground-level. Some of the seats have been installed, too, as construction nears completion before the 2020 NFL season.
The stadium was supposed to open in July for two nights of Taylor Swift concerts, but with her tour being canceled, the opening will be delayed at least slightly. It’s expected to be ready for the start of the NFL season, though, which will have its schedule released on Thursday night.
To truly appreciate just how far SoFi Stadium has come since construction first started, check out the timelapse video below. It spans more than three years since ground was broken in late 2016 and has continued ever since.

SoFi Stadium will be the most expensive stadium in the NFL, costing $5 billion to build. It will also be one of the best in the country and play host to some huge events such as the Super Bowl, college football championship and the Summer Olympics.
