Logan Ryan made his departure from the Tennessee Titans official on Tuesday after releasing a statement saying goodbye on Instagram.
Ryan thanked his now-former teammates and fans in the statement, which marks the end of his three-year tenure in Nashville.
The veteran corner was unanimously well-liked among fans and those who cover the team, and that was clear just by looking at the reaction to his statement on Twitter.
After all, he was an absolute class act off the field and his solid play year in and year out made a major impact on the team’s defense, particularly during the 2019 season.
Here’s what Twitter had to say.
Thanks TD

I second this. Whoever signs Logan Ryan is going to get a good football player and even better person. He can go to a contender and help, or he can go to a team that's trying to change the culture. He'll greatly improve whichever locker room he walks into. https://t.co/NXCjzlPWmz

Thank you for what you have contributed to the Titans organization Logan! Also thank you for making Tom Brady’s last pass as a Patriot to an amazing TEN DB for a game sealing, dynasty destroying, incredible pick six. Thank you Logan Ryan and best of luck in the future! #TitanUp https://t.co/qSTt8wnilH

We still don’t know where Ryan will end up, as he remains on the free-agent market.
There is likely serious interest in his services with what he brings to the table, but his reported $10 million per year asking price might be preventing teams from biting.
