Tennessee offers 2022 cornerback James Monds III

Tennessee offers 2022 cornerback James Monds III.

Tennessee is in the midst of a red-hot run to build the 2021 recruiting class, but that does not mean the Vols have stopped pursuing 2022 talents.

UT offered 3-star cornerback James Monds III from Fort Pierce, Florida to be a part of the 2022 recruiting class.

Defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley – who has been a huge part of Tennessee’s recent recruiting success – is Monds’ primary recruiter. The sophomore at Fort Pierce Westwood weighs in at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds and is rated the No. 42 cornerback in his class by 247Sports.

With an offer list that includes Michigan State, Miami and Arizona, expect Monds’ options to grow as his recruitment continues. A multi-sport athlete, Monds shines on the soccer field as well.

Tennessee does not yet have any prospects committed to the 2022 recruiting class in its early stages.
