Charlotte Hornets rookie P.J. Washington took a trip down memory lane and recalled several highlights of his life on and off of the basketball court in a segment posted on social media.

From his time playing in the FIBA Americas U18 Championship tournament with USA Basketball to getting drafted by the Hornets, Washington gave his thoughts on some old memories in the video clip.

Washington also commented on a photo captured of him competing against LeBron James and other NBA players some time ago at the Nike Academy Camp before he started his collegiate career at Kentucky.

“I think that was my sophomore year of high school,” Washington said. “I think it was the first Nike Academy Camp and LeBron was actually playing against us. That was pretty dope and then [I] got a picture against him. It was just fun playing against him and going against him.”

Washington faced James and the Los Angles Lakers once this season on Oct. 27. He tallied eight points and six rebounds in a 19-point loss while James had 20 points and 12 assists in the win.
