Chiefs announce jersey numbers for 2020 draft picks

We already know what number Clyde Edwards-Helaire will wear. Check out the rest of the numbers for the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookies.

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced the jersey numbers for their rookie draft picks. There are some great choices in there and several have been worn by some former fan favorites. Here’s a look at jersey numbers for the incoming rookie class for Kansas City:

  • RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire: No. 25
  • LB Willie Gay Jr: No. 50
  • OL Lucas Niang: No. 67
  • CB L’Jarius Sneed: No. 38
  • DE Mike Danna: No. 51
  • CB BoPete Keyes: No. 29

Edwards-Helaire, Gay, and Keyes all chose numbers previously worn by some great Chiefs’ players. Jamaal Charles wore No. 25, Justin Houston wore No. 50, and Eric Berry wore No. 29. Most recently there have been some other guys wearing those numbers, last year Darron Lee wore No. 50 and Kendall Fuller wore No. 29. Still, it’s hard to not look toward the great players who donned those jersey numbers.
