Bleacher Report was not nice to the Vikings in their offseason rankings.
The outlet first gave the team a C+, then followed that up with a D- later on in the offseason. However, the Vikings had yet to draft any players when Bleacher Report was giving out grades.
Now, it seems, when it comes to predicting the 2020 regular season, the outlet is a little higher on the Vikings than when it was giving out offseason grades.
Bleacher Report predicted the Vikings will go 10-6 in 2020, the same record Minnesota had in 2019. Here’s what Bleacher Report said about the prediction:
“Under [Gary] Kubiak, the Vikings will have a ball-control offense that keeps the defense off the field for long stretches. Minnesota is going to win a lot of low-scoring affairs with a methodical approach.”
I think Kirk Cousins might surprise some people and run up the score in a few games, but overall, I agree with Bleacher Report in its assessment. I’d also be good with 10-6 after the mass departures this offseason.
