By now, most of you have had a chance to go out and find highlights of new Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool. All the commentary about his size and athleticism just jumps off the screen. But an underrated part of his game every Steelers fan has to like is how hard he works on every play, even if it is as a blocker.

This sort of attitude was echoed by Claypool’s former head coach at Notre Dame, Brian Kelly.

You got a player who really resembles the fan base. He is dependable. He is tough and physical. He is a Steeler. He is that kind of player. He epitomizes Steelers Nation.

The Steelers selected Claypool in the second round of the draft with the No. 49 overall pick. This choice was a pick intended to not only give Ben Roethlisberger a weapon this season but with an eye to the future if JuJu Smith-Schuster leaves in free agency.
