The Philadelphia Eagles added Jalen Hurts to the roster via draft pick and his salary is already set in stone with the NFL’s rookie wage scale already in play.
Because Hurts was the No. 53 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, his rookie deal will be worth just over $6 million, with a $1.94 million signing bonus per Over The Cap.

Hurts will just under $1.1 million against the Eagles’ salary cap in 2020.
Hurts is a developmental quarterback but he’ll get his feet wet early as the Eagles view him in the same context the Saints view Taysom Hill.
Hurts is an improving passer and in 2019 at Oklahoma, he rushed for 1,298 yards and 20 touchdowns on top of the 3,851 passing yards and 32 touchdowns.
