255 players heard their names called in the draft this weekend. Many more were left unpicked and are now scrambling to find work in the NFL.
Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater shared a message of encouragement for the class of 2020 today, including those who didn’t get drafted and those who won’t sign with a team.

While Bridgewater was a first-round pick, he’s had to prove himself in other ways. The knee injury he sustained in 2016 was serious enough to potentially end his days of playing football. It took him four years, but Bridgewater has battled back and will be starting at quarterback again this season for the first time since the injury.
We haven’t heard anything official from the team as of yet, but we’re projecting P.J. Walker to be his primary backup. If the Panthers carry three quarterbacks, Will Grier’s spot is safe. If not, he could wind up somewhere else.
